Join Our Squad of Rugby LA Coaches!

Rugby LA is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our coaching staff for the Winter, Spring, and Summer 2026 seasons. No rugby playing experience is required, though coaching or player experience is preferred. We provide training and equipment; you just need a positive attitude and a commitment to helping at-risk youth in Los Angeles!

  • Coaches are contracted for 1+ afterschool sites, leading eight (8) one-hour sessions per assigned site. You dictate the workload you want to commit to.

  • All coaches complete annual training, where they receive organization apparel and equipment kit to implement programming.

  • All programming is scheduled between 2 - 6 pm, Monday thru Friday.

  • $50/per 60-minute session (plus prep and reporting time), in addition to paid ref opportunities at our tournaments. All coaches are compensated for time completing required training and certification.

What equipment do coaches need?

Rugby LA provides all essential equipment for coaching. You'll receive a professional kit including training gear, rugby balls, and safety equipment. Personal items like comfortable athletic shoes and workout clothes are recommended.
