Your employer might double your gift.

Three Ways Your Workplace Can Help

Thousands of companies offer programs that turn your support into more. Most people don't know their employer has one. Search yours below.

Matching Gifts

Your employer matches your donation, often dollar for dollar. Some match 2:1 or 3:1. You give once, Rugby LA receives twice.

Volunteer Grants

Your employer donates based on hours you volunteer. Coach a season with us and your company may fund the next one. See how to volunteer →

Payroll Giving

Give automatically from each paycheck through your workplace giving platform. Small amounts, no effort, and often matched too.

What a Match Actually Funds

Matched gifts raise the average donation by 51%. Here's what doubling looks like on the pitch.

$100 → $200
Two intro clinics
A single clinic series at the YMCA's Girls Empowerment Day introduced 100+ girls to rugby over three years.
$250 → $500
Two equipment kits
Kits stay with the site permanently. Four kits from one foundation gift are still in use at Sheriff's Youth Activity League sites.
$400 → $800
Two certified coaches
Kids who play for trained coaches are 5× less likely to quit the sport the next year.
$1,000 → $2,000
Two full seasons
One site, Suva Intermediate, has served 162 middle schoolers since we started. A second site doubles that reach.

An estimated $4–7 billion in matching gift revenue goes unclaimed every year. Most of it simply because nobody asked.

Common Questions

I gave a few months ago. Can I still get it matched?+

Usually, yes. Many companies accept match requests up to a year after the original gift. Search your employer above to check their deadline.

My company isn't in the search results. Does that mean no match?+

Not necessarily. Some programs are new or run through a parent company. Ask your HR department or check your employee benefits portal. If you find one, let us know so we can add it.

Do volunteer hours count if I'm not a coach?+

Yes. Tournament day support, equipment kit builds, and skills-based volunteering all count toward most volunteer grant programs. We'll provide whatever verification your employer needs.

Does this work for gifts made through Givebutter?+

Yes. Our donation forms already check your employer for you at checkout. This page is for anyone who gave by check, through payroll, or wants to check eligibility before giving.
